What to do if you are not happy with the outcome of your report
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your anti-social behaviour reports, you can request a case review.
What is an anti-social behaviour Case Review?
An anti-social behaviour case review, also formerly known as a Community Trigger, is where agencies, including Local Authorities and the Police, review how they have responded to your reports.
Anti-social behaviour Case Review Requirements:
- You must have reported three separate anti-social behaviour incidents related to the same or similar issues.
- These three anti-social behaviour reports must have been made within the past six months.
Yearly Figures
Between April 2024 and March 2025, the Council received 41 requests to activate the anti-social behaviour case review process. Of these, 6 requests met the required threshold and were subject of multi-agency anti-social behaviour case review panel meetings, resulting in agreed actions plans to address the complaints received. All requests that did not meet the threshold were referred to the relevant departments/agencies for further investigation.
