Poll Clerk
Poll Clerks are required to work from 6:00am through until 10:15pm on polling day. We have polling stations across the Borough and where possible, we will place a poll clerk near to their home address.
Duties include:

- Checking identification of electors attending to vote
- Finding and marking the electors on the register of electors and Corresponding Numbers List
- Issuing ballot papers
Before polling day, all Poll Clerks must attend one of the 90 minute in person training sessions.
No previous experience is required.
Payment for poll clerk roles is £13.33 per hour, plus 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
An additional fee is paid for attending training.
