About family hubs
Government funding of £3.4million has helped to deliver the Family Hubs and the Giving your child the Best Start in Life locally, adding value to the existing support that is already available for families in Children’s Centres and Early Help sites.
The work is being delivered by the Council and a range of partners including:





Friendly, welcoming spaces
Family Hubs support children, young people, and their families. You can get help with everyday challenges, including parenting, money, housing, health, and wellbeing.
There are three main Family Hubs in Rotherham, supported by a wider network of local services and Children’s Centres:
Early Help Outreach and Engagement Workers also run activities in Children’s Centres for families with children aged 0 to 5.
Help for you and your family
All families in Rotherham can access support through the Family Hubs network. This includes:
- information and advice on a range of topics
- support for your child’s health and development
- help to build your skills and confidence as a parent
- play-based learning opportunities for your child
- support to connect with other families and local services
