Stakeholder Steering Group
A new feature of the declarations is the inclusion of a Stakeholder Steering group made up of representatives of public bodies, landlords, tenants, local groups. The Terms of Reference are currently being developed but anyone living or having an interest in an area under selective licensing, who would want to represent their areas can apply to be part of the Stakeholder Steering Group.
Members of the group will be expected to attend bi-annual meetings, communicate within their communities to bring ideas and feedback to the group, offer support and oversight to the individual selective licensing schemes as they progress and be willing to work cooperatively with all stakeholders to help deliver the maximum benefit to those who live and work within the declarations.
