
Some Rotherham Council services will be closed or have amended operating hours on Monday 19 September, the Bank Holiday for the State Funeral of Her Majesty The Queen.

Rotherham Council Customer Services (including emergencies):
From 8pm on Friday 16 September until 8am on Tuesday 20 September Rotherham Council essential services will be taking emergency telephone calls only.
Emergency services are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Refuse collections
Refuse collections will go ahead on Monday 19 September but will begin one hour earlier than usual. Please ensure your bin is out for collection by 6am. Regular collection times will resume on Tuesday 20 September.
Household Waste & Recycling Centres
Our four Household Waste and Recycling Centres will be closed on Monday 19 September and re-open as normal on Tuesday 20 September.
Rotherham Markets
Rotherham Markets will be closed on Monday 19 September and re-open as normal on Tuesday 20 September.
Libraries and Neighbourhood Hubs
All Rotherham Libraries and Neighbourhood Hubs will be closed on Monday 19 September and re-open as normal on Tuesday 20 September.
Cemeteries
All Council-run cemeteries will be open on Monday 19 September. Bank Holiday opening times apply.
East Herringthorpe: 10am - 8pm
Maltby, Moorgate, Masbrough, Rawmarsh Greasbrough Lane, Rawmarsh Haugh Road, Rawmarsh High Street, Greasbrough Town Lane, and Wath Cemetery: 10am - 7pm
Country Parks and Urban Parks
Our parks and green spaces will be open on Monday 19 September but without attractions operating. Please note Rother Valley Country Park Watersports activities and the cycle centre will also be closed.
Rotherham Theatres Box Office
The Box Office will be closed on Monday 19 September and re-open as normal on Tuesday 20 September.
Online services
Our website remains available 24/7 with access to a number of services. You can make online payments for services such as Council Tax, rents or parking fines using credit or debit cards or PayPal. You can manage your business rates or benefits online, renew library books or download eBooks for free.
Cabinet Meeting
The Cabinet meeting which was due to take place on Monday 19 will now take place on Tuesday 20 September at 12:30pm in the Chamber.
Books of Condolence
The Books of Condolence at the Town Hall and Riverside House will not be available on Monday 19 September. The Book of Condolence at Rotherham Minster will be available from 9am to 1pm. The online Book of Condolence is available. Full details and opening times are available here.
