We maintain the majority of roads, streets, pavements, cycleways and public rights of way which are commonly known as "adopted roads".
A private road or street is commonly known as an "unadopted" and not maintained by us.
A private road is the responsibility of the land owner(s) to carry out repairs, however we will make safe and remove obstructions which may be causing a danger to pedestrians or traffic.
