Fees and charges
The last fee review of the permit scheme was carried out to cover the period 2021 to 2024 (Years 10 to 12 of the permit cycle). The permit fees have now been increased to the maximum level currently allowed by the Department For Transport (DFT).

Permit variation fee
£45 for activities on catagory 0, 1, and 2 and traffic 3 and 4 designated traffic sensitive.
£35 for activities on category 3 and 4 non traffic sensitive streets.
If a permit variation moves an activity into a higher fee category, the Promoter will be required to pay the difference in permit fee as well as the permit variation.
No variation fee is payable if a permit variation is initiated by the Permit Authority.
