About Sitwell ward

Sitwell is on the southern boundary of Rotherham town, but is in the central area of the borough. It includes the localities of Whiston, Stag, Broom, Brecks, and Grange Estate.

Ward priorities

  1. We will work with partners to address isolation and loneliness, especially amongst those aged 65+ years
  2. We will continue to work with Yorkshire Water, the Environment Agency and the Council’s Streetpride service to reduce the number of and mitigate the impact of flooding incidents
  3. We will support new and existing groups, and local schools, including in light of Covid
