8. Review of this policy
1. The council will consider any potential impacts on businesses before the Council changes any policies that affect regulatory and enforcement functions. Where there is a perceived significant change of impact then business will be consulted in relation to the changes of policy. Before changing polices or service standards, the impact on businesses will be considered. We will engage with business representatives. This is as per Section 2.1 of the Regulators’ Code.
2. Policies will be reviewed if feedback indicates that improvements may be necessary, or where legislative changes require consideration of policy change. This includes those policies which are statutorily required.
