Political comments and pre-election periods

The Council, as opposed to its political administration, must be politically neutral in its communications. Please do not use any of our pages to promote party political messages or other content.

We will adhere to restrictions and guidance on publicity in any pre-election period (also known as ‘purdah’) for local, general or European elections.
