Removal of vehicles
For safety reasons, we may remove vehicles which are parked dangerously or are causing an obstruction.
In addition, some motorists regularly ignore parking restrictions and fail to pay their parking fines (known as "persistent evaders").The Traffic Management Act 2004 allows us to take action by removing and impounding vehicles of these persistent evaders
If you:
- have three or more recorded parking tickets for your vehicle
- have not paid, represented or appealed against those notices within the legal time limits
- have had your appeals rejected but have still not paid
Then we may remove your vehicle.
