How to suggest a topic for scrutiny
Anyone who lives or works in Rotherham can make a request for Scrutiny to look at matters that affect our community or where there may be a concern about Council policies or services.
Online form
If you have a topic of concern that you would like Scrutiny to consider, please fill in our form.
What happens with your suggestion
Your suggestion will be considered by the Council’s Overview and Scrutiny Management Board. This may result in the matter being included in a scrutiny work program for a future meeting or referred elsewhere for a response.
Scrutiny will be more likely to consider your proposal if you can show that the issue affects a significant number of people in the area.
Other concerns
If your concern is about an individual complaint regarding a specific service, it’s best to reach out directly to the complaints team.
