Temporary accommodation
Depending on your circumstances and eligibility, you may be offered temporary accommodation whilst we help you to find secure and permanent accommodation.
Rotherham Council owns a limited number of temporary accommodation properties and there is a high demand for these, so you could be placed in a hotel or bed and breakfast instead, or until a temporary accommodation property becomes available. You may also be offered temporary accommodation outside of the area, depending on what availability we have. Rotherham Council charges a nightly charge for temporary accommodation which will be covered by Housing Benefits if you claim benefits.
