Local Aggregates Assessment
National planning policy identifies that it is essential that there is a sufficient supply of minerals to provide the infrastructure, buildings, energy and goods that the country needs, and as such Minerals Planning Authorities should plan for a steady and adequate supply of aggregates. As part of this requirement we have to produce a Local Aggregate Assessment (LAA).
The LAA provides information on monitoring, supply and demand for aggregate minerals within Doncaster and Rotherham.
