Cyclists and pedestrians are benefiting from the improved layout and landscaping of this key route. As well as improving access to Rotherham bus interchange and train station, it makes journeys in and around the town centre quicker and easier, especially on east-west routes.
Completed in 2024 the scheme was delivered with money secured from the Department for Transport’s Transforming Cities Fund by the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA).
