Property Flood Resilience Grant

About the grant

The UK Government has opened financial support for communities following severe flooding. Property flood resilience grants are available in Rotherham as part of the government’s Flood Recovery Framework. Property flood resilience grants are used to make a property better protected against future flooding. We will be administrating property flood resilience Grants to Rotherham residents and businesses, who suffered internal flood damage in their homes or businesses during Storm Babet between the dates of 19th and 25th October 2023.

Eligible property owners can apply for up to £5,000 to help make their property more resilient against future flooding.

There is also opportunity for community schemes where properties work together on collective resilience measures which improve the community’s overall resilience. Community schemes require all property owners in the area to agree to contribute their grant to collective resilience measures.
