Awards and trophies for Made in Rotherham show classes

Please note all successful exhibitors will be contacted on Saturday afternoon by telephone and invited to attend the presentation on Sunday 7th September 2025. Please ensure you provide a contact telephone number on your entry form.

Best in Show

  • The "Irene Peake Trophy" will be awarded to the exhibitor with most points in Classes 1 to 134.
  • The "Royal Jubilee Shield" will be awarded for best individual exhibit in Classes 1 to 134.

Vegetables

  • The "George Skinner Trophy" will be awarded for the best individual exhibit in Classes 6 and 7
  • The "J. Podmore Shield" will be awarded to the winner of Class 8
  • The "C.T. Mason Trophy" will be awarded for the best individual exhibit in Class 14
  • The "Garden News Shield" will be awarded to the winner of Class 29
  • The "Measures Memorial Bowl" will be awarded to the exhibitor with the most points in Classes 1 to 28 and 31 to 32
  • The "Carlin Jubilee Shield" will be awarded for the best individual exhibit in Classes 1 to 28 and 31 to 32

Flowers, Gladiolus, Chrysanthemums and Dahlias

  • The "Measures Memorial Bowl" will be awarded to the exhibitor with most points in Classes 34 to 41 and 87 to 122
  • The "Charles Brett Shield" will be awarded for the best individual exhibit in Classes 34 to 41 and 87 to 122
  • The "John Lambert Trophy" will be awarded for the best individual exhibit in Dahlia Classes 112 to 131
  • The "Graham's Gardens Trophy" will be awarded for the best individual exhibit in Class 112.
  • The "Graham's Garden Shield" will be awarded for the best individual exhibit in Class 130.
  • The "NDS Silver Medal" will be awarded for the best individual exhibit in the Dahlia Classes 112 to 131.
  • The "NDS Bronze Medal" will be awarded to the runner up in the Dahlia Classes 112 to 131.
  • The "J. Podmore Trophy" will be awarded for the highest number of points gained in the Chrysanthemum Section, Classes 104 to 110
  • The "D.J. Willoughby Trophy" to be awarded to the person who gains most points in the Gladiolus Section, Classes 89 to 101.
  • The ‘NGS silver medal’ to be awarded to the champion spike as judged across the Gladiolus Section, Classes 89 to 101.

Baking

  • A "Star Baker Apron" will be awarded to the best individual exhibit in the baking classes -  Classes 42 to 52; 54 to 56.
  • A Children’s "Star Baker Apron" will be awarded to the best individual exhibit in Children’s Baking Classes - Classes 82 to 84.
  • The "Bake Rotherham Challenge Trophy" will be awarded to the best individual exhibit in class 52 - Technical Bake Challenge.

Arts and Crafts and Children

  • The "Rotherham College of Arts and Technology Trophy" will be awarded to the best individual exhibit in Classes 42 to 56; 57 to 69.
  • The "William Cowen Children's Trophy" will be awarded to the best individual exhibit in Classes 70 to 84.

Floral Art

  • The "Rotherham and South Yorkshire Advertiser Perpetual Challenge Trophy" will be awarded for the best individual exhibit in Classes 85 to 88

Allotments

  • The "Tom Heath Perpetual Challenge Trophy" will be awarded to the best display in Class 135
