Information for competitors in class 135
Twenty kinds of vegetables will be taken into consideration for points and these must be indicated on the pointing sheet. An exhibitor may stage other vegetables, flowers and fruit and these will only be considered by the Judges in assessing the additional 70 points which are awarded for display only.
Class 135 will be judged in accordance with the suggested pointing and assessment of Merit referred to in the “Judging of Vegetables” as set out in the R.H.S. Horticultural Show Handbook and prospective exhibitors may obtain a copy of the pointing sheet from Made in Rotherham Show Team, Clifton Park Garden Building, Clifton Park, Clifton Lane, Rotherham S65 2AA.
The display must be the joint effort of at least four Society members – the full names and addresses of whom must be shown on the entry form and must be completed by the society secretary. Only one entry from the same four society members will be permitted.
No Society names to be displayed on the entries or pointing sheet until after judging is completed.
Only four society members may enter this class from each allotment site.
