Regulations

All exhibitors must complete the Entry Form and return to Made in Rotherham Show Team, Clifton Park Garden House, Clifton Park, Clifton Lane, Rotherham, S65 2AA or enter via the website on or before Wednesday 3rd September 2025. Although further entries can be accepted at the Garden House Reception from Thursday 4th September 2025, it would be appreciated if the majority of entries are made prior to Wednesday 3rd September 2025, to assist in the layout and setting up of the Show.
Entries made on Friday 5th September 2025 will be charged at an extra 25p fee per entry.

The closing date for entries in Floral Art (Classes 85-88), Tom Heath Display of Vegetables (Class 135), Community groups Miniature Garden (Class 33) Handicrafts and Art (Class 59) and Dahlias (Class 112) will be Friday, 29th August 2025.

A maximum of 2 entries per exhibitor is allowed in each class except in classes 8, 29, 30, 33, and 135 where only 1 entry is allowed and 102 and 103 where 3 entries each are allowed

The Marquees will be open for the staging of exhibits from 12 noon to 10pm on the Friday 5th September 2025 and all entries for exhibition must be in the marquees by 8.30am on the morning of the opening day but, in the interest of exhibitors, and for the convenience of the Show Organisers, it is hoped that all entries, will be staged on the Friday. Stewards will be provided throughout the days of the Show.
The marquees will be cleared in readiness for judging by 8.30am on the morning of the opening day of the Show by which time all exhibitors and their assistants must leave the marquees. Marquees will be open to the public at approx. 12 noon on the Saturday and 11am on the Sunday. -
No exhibit may be removed before 4.45pm on the last evening of the Show.
The Competitive Marquees will be completely cleared of people by 4.30pm – Only exhibitors in possession of an exhibit card will then be allowed into the marquees from 4.45pm to collect their exhibits.
Flowers still remaining in the marquee after 5.30pm will be donated to a local care organisation. Vegetables left will be first offered to the local food bank, and then auctioned off. Any money raised from the auctioning of produce will be donated to a named community group.

On receipt of entry forms, exhibit cards will need to be collected from Clifton Park Garden House, Clifton Park, Clifton Lane, Rotherham, S65 2AA. Exhibitors will be responsible for the proper placing of these cards (face up) on their exhibit(s) and should satisfy themselves that the cards correctly describe the exhibit.

All grown exhibits for prizes must have been grown by the exhibitor for at least two months before the date of the Show, unless a distinct exception is made in the condition published in the schedule under which any particular prize is to be awarded.

Please note that the classes contained in the schedule are only open to amateurs. An amateur is a person who does not, and never has, practiced as a nurseryperson, seedsperson, florist or professional gardener and one who does not earn their livelihood at gardening.

Objection to any exhibit must be lodged in writing with the Show Officials before 4pm on Saturday 6th September 2025, with a deposit of £5. If the objection is upheld the deposit will be returned. An official receipt will be given for the deposit.

Exhibitors having an objection upheld against them will be disqualified from the Show.

The decision of the Judges is final in all classes and they will be empowered to withhold any prize in any class if the entry does not warrant it.
Please note
There will be no admission to the Competitive Marquees during the judging on Saturday 7th September 2024, between 8.30am to 12 noon and no public admission after 4.30pm on Sunday, 8th September 2024.
- Prize money will be paid out from Clifton Park Garden House Reception on Sunday 7th September 2025 from 12 noon to 4pm. and then from 4:30-6pm in the Tent. Money will then be paid out from Clifton Park Garden House Reception from Monday 8th to Friday 12th September 2025. Any prize money that has not been collected by 5pm on Friday 12th September 2025 will be forfeited.
- Any other items not included in these Regulations will be dealt with by the Senior Ranger whose decision will be final.

Disclaimer of Liability
In this clause the term Exhibitor shall include persons taking part in any competition or display arranged by the Show Organisers, and the owner of any animal, plant, machinery or other thing involved in any such competition or display or otherwise exhibited on the Showground. Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Show Organisers, its servants or agents, the Show Organisers will not be responsible for death, injury, disease, damage or loss caused to any exhibitor or to his or her servant or agent or to any animal, article, plant, machinery or thing of whatever nature brought on to the Showground by the said exhibitor from whatever cause death, injury, disease, damage or loss arises.
(Save as aforesaid) the exhibitor shall indemnify the Show Organisers against all claims, damages and expenses whatsoever in any way arising out of the presence of the exhibitor, his servants, agents, exhibits, vehicles or equipment on the Showground and shall assume full responsibility therefore.
Acceptance of the foregoing provisions shall be a condition of entry.
Exhibitors are advised to insure against fire, theft and other appropriate risk
not only as regards their own property but also against any third party claim. -
Security
Professional night security will patrol the park over the show period.
Stewards will be provided throughout the Made in Rotherham Marquee during show opening hours.
There will be no admission to the Competitive Marquees during the judging
