Request a Carers Assessment
If you live in Rotherham and care for somebody, you are entitled to have a carers needs assessment. This can be separate for yourself as a carer or jointly with the person you care for.
You will be given advice and information and details of local services and support groups, and you can be registered on the Emergency Care Scheme Register.
The assessment can also enable you to access respite care services.
