Discount for Apprentices
You should complete this form, if all of the following applies to the apprentice:
- They must be employed for the purpose of learning a trade or profession
- They must be earning a salary substantially lower than they would earn once qualified and it must be less than £195.00 (gross) per week
- They must be working towards a qualification accredited by the National Council for Vocational Qualifications or Scotland Vocational Education
In order to award the discount we require a signed declaration from the apprentice's employer. The declaration will have to be uploaded as part of the application process.
If your application is successful, your discount will be reviewed annually.
If you live alone and you are an apprentice you may receive a 50% discount, made up of a 25% apprentice discount and a 25% single person discount.
