Charging Orders

If you own a property we may decide to apply for a charging order to be placed on the property.

That means that if you were to sell your property, your debt will be cleared from the proceeds of sale. In some cases we can also force you to sell the property so that we can recover the debt from the sale proceeds.

This action is likely to add significant further costs to what you owe.
