Private landlord forum
The Council recognises the importance of the private rented sector in meeting local housing needs.
A regular forum, for landlords with properties in the Rotherham area, has been held in the past with support from local landlords and the National Residential Landlord Association (NRLA).

However, due to a change in landlords’ approach to learning, resources, lifestyle and organisational changes within the NRLA, the Council have had to re-consider the offer of a regular landlord forum.
The Council, with assistance from the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA), are contributing to an annual sub-regional landlord forum that will provide landlords with the opportunity to influence private rented sector discussion as well as be informed of sector related initiatives that inform their business model.
