Wickersley North Ward
Currently WYB and WYC polling districts are in Rotherham constituency, with the majority of the ward in Wentworth & Dearne constituency. When the new Parliamentary constituency boundaries come into force, all of Wickersley North ward will be in Rotherham constituency.

There is potential for the following housing developments:
- WYC: Approx 206 properties with an estimated polling station electorate of 286
- WYG: Approx 45 properties with an estimated polling station electorate of 62
(Acting) Returning Officer’s comments and proposals
- In the future, once the new Parliamentary constituency boundaries are in force, the (Acting) Returning Officer will consider merging polling districts WYA and WYB as they will be in the same Parliamentary constituency, borough ward and parish ward. Currently they are in different Parliamentary constituencies and therefore can’t be merged at this time, as merging them will mean the current parliamentary constituency registers could not be produced.
- The (Acting) Returning Officer is aware that when considering potential housing developments, WYG polling station electorate may slightly exceed the recommended maximum polling station electorate by less than 100 electors. The (Acting) Returning Officer does not propose any changes at this time, but will keep this polling district under review and if necessary, will carry out an interim review to consider amendments to the polling district.
